- For groups of 7–10 using a referred independent captain, you'll pay the captain directly $100 per hour for captain services and fuel; this is not included in the listed price
- Self-operation requires a U.S. Coast Guard master's license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- Captain gratuity is not included in the listed price

Cancellation Policy
Full refund if you cancel more than 10 days before your booking. No refund within 10 days or for no-shows. Memorial Day weekend, the week of July 4, July 4 fireworks, and Labor Day weekend cancellations are non-refundable within one month. Full refund if the operator cancels, including due to weather.

Yes. If you book for 7+ passengers, U.S. Coast Guard regulations require a Bareboat Charter and you pay the captain and fuel separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. Plan on an additional $100 per hour due on arrival, paid directly to the captain. Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking, and each guest counts as a passenger regardless of age.
No. Use the restroom at the marina near the parking lot before boarding. If needed, you can stop along the way.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera/phone, and a jacket or sweatshirt. If you plan to swim, bring a swimsuit and towel (towels aren’t provided). You can bring your own food and drinks; a cooler or small refrigerator is onboard (bring your own ice). Do not bring glass, red wine, pets/animals, or messy foods.
