Perfect for cooling off in the summer. Great for escaping the hustle and bustle of Orlando for a day. There were three of us, and we also rented a canoe – we booked the entrance fee and canoe rental in advance. We booked 4 hours for $55 USD; 2 hours cost $50 USD… so it's worth spending the extra $5 USD. After paddling downstream for about 30 minutes, you can make a short stop for something to eat or drink. Along the way, you'll encounter pure wildlife – turtles, fish, birds… and alligators (we saw, for example, 10 baby alligators basking in the sun). The outdoor pool is also highly recommended. The water, at around 23 degrees Celsius, is a welcome respite on hot days… the water is clear, and it wasn't very crowded when we were there.
