Whalehead Club Single Kayak Rental

I came to North Beach Watersports at 61 years old, nervous as could be, and doing both parasailing and jet skiing for the very first time. I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the owner, to the wonderful young woman behind the desk, to every person who helped me throughout the day, the staff was tremendous. They took the time to make sure everything would work for me, answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable and confident without ever making me feel silly for being nervous. Pierre was my parasailing captain, and he and his crew were fantastic. I went all the way up on the 800-foot parasail, which still makes me laugh because I was genuinely scared beforehand. Once I was up there, it was absolutely incredible. I also have to give a special shout-out to the crew member who took the parasailing photos. I wish I remembered his name because he deserves the credit. The pictures were AMAZING. I am so glad I purchased them. And having the GoPro with me during the flight was equally worth it. Between the professional photos and the GoPro footage, I have the entire experience captured from completely different perspectives, and I am so glad I did both. Then there was Charlie with the jet ski. He was phenomenal. He was patient, funny, encouraging, and took the time to explain everything until I felt like I could actually do it. He kept telling me, “I believe in you.” 😂 Apparently that was exactly what I needed, because off I went. The pricing was very reasonable for the experience, and it was worth every penny. I never felt rushed, pressured, or like I was just another customer being moved through. I came there wanting to prove to myself that I could do two things I had been afraid to do. I left having done both. If you are a first-timer, nervous, older, going by yourself, or just need a little extra reassurance, I cannot recommend North Beach Watersports enough. Five stars without hesitation. I would absolutely do it again.
