Know before you go
- Ages 18+ only
- Arrive no more than 15 minutes late, as your spot may no longer be available
- Wear closed-toe shoes
- Expect to wade through up to thigh-deep water to reach the boat at low tide
- Accept the required waiver, terms, and safety policies
- Emergency contact details are required
- Expect an onshore class, which may be shortened, in inclement weather
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or rebook 49+ hours before the clinic for a full refund. No refund for cancellations or rebookings within 48 hours or no-shows. Receive a full refund if Jetties Sailing Center cancels due to weather or for any other reason.
FAQs
No prior sailing experience is required. Instruction is tailored to the class's abilities.
Wear closed-toe shoes and bring sun protection and a water bottle; glass bottles are not allowed. A personal flotation device is provided, or bring your own U.S. Coast Guard-approved Type III personal flotation device in good condition.
The clinic may sail in rain, but not in heavy rain, thunder, or lightning. In inclement weather, expect an onshore class that may be shortened.
