- Bring up to 3 youth sailors, or have a parent or guardian join one sailor on RS Quest
- Plan for tidal access that may require wading to a powerboat at low tide

Age range is listed as 5–12 in the activity details, with some notes stating 5–11; confirm your sailor’s eligibility before booking. Opti lessons are for one sailor ages 8–12 and the sailor should have previous sailing experience. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your lesson may not be available and your booking is non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel/rebook 0–48 hours before or no-show: no refund. Cancel/rebook 49+ hours: 100% refund. Full refund if Jetties Sailing Center cancels the lesson for any reason.

No. A personal flotation device (PFD) is provided, or you can bring your own U.S. Coast Guard–approved Type III PFD in good condition.
