Puente Dos Hermanos, whose name translates to Bridge of Two Brothers, was completed in 1926, making it one of the oldest reinforced concrete bridges in Puerto Rico. It was built to improve access between the Condado district and the rest of San Juan, and its construction helped spur the development of what would become one of the island's most vibrant urban neighborhoods.

The bridge stretches over the channel connecting Condado Lagoon to the Atlantic Ocean. From its low, wide railings you can watch kayakers glide across the lagoon, pelicans dive near the pilings, and small boats navigate the calm passage below. The surrounding water shifts in color throughout the day, from pale turquoise at midday to deep indigo after dark.
