The Wailea Beach Path runs just above the shoreline and connects the beach to adjacent strands including Ulua and Polo Beach. Walking the path in the late afternoon, with the West Maui Mountains catching the last light, gives a strong sense of the landscape that shaped this coastline long before the first hotels arrived.
