We spent a late afternoon with Captain Mark on 8/4/26. Us: 4 teen daughters and two parents. We had booked the sunset dolphin tour with him after reading through a few reviews of highly recommended guides, suggestions of relatives who frequent HHI. They were booked; we ended up with Captain Mark by accident. What a happy misfortune! In brief: the tour exceeded all expectations. Mark is professional, courteous, and highly personable. Kept all of our attention, knew just when and how much humor to inject to maintain our daughters’ attention, and was highly knowledgeable about both the dolphins (individuals, pods, habits, habitat) and the area. We learned a TON with him and if/when we return to HHI we will undoubtedly book with him again. We are not much of a “book an activity” family, and this vacation carried with it some risk of fails as we tried out different things. Some were good and some (alligator tour, don’t bother) were less so. This was an absolutely outstanding experience, made so my Captain Mark himself. Seek this one out. You’ll be happy that you did.
