Eco Endeavors invites you to experience Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands through the eyes of local naturalist captains who grew up on these waters. Their Coast Guard inspected vessels carry small groups to hidden mangrove...
Captain Glenn, Captain Clay, and Captain Damien lead tours that consistently deliver memorable wildlife encounters and educational experiences. Dolphins are the star attraction here, and the captains have a knack for finding them and positioning boats so these playful creatures ride the wake. Beyond the dolphins, guests appreciate learning about the mangroves, local history, and the ecosystem from guides who clearly know and love this area. The shelling stops on small islands are a hit with families, though afternoon trips may yield fewer finds than morning excursions. What sets these tours apart is the personalized attention and flexibility. Captains tailor experiences based on what interests you most, accommodating groups ranging from toddlers to grandparents with equal enthusiasm. First Mate Michelle gets special praise for island exploration, and several captains follow up with photos and trip maps afterward. The professionalism and warmth make everyone feel welcome, including furry family members on private charters. Even on chilly days, the engaging commentary and wildlife sightings keep the experience enjoyable for all ages.
Organized and informative tour. Captain Glen and Marilyn were great hosts. Well worth the time and cost. Recommend taking a sweater even if it's a nice day...or at least a towel in the event you get sprayed from the boat. Came back with a bag of shells and a better knowledge of the region.
