First Nature Tours

The guides here are genuinely the heart of what makes this tour company stand out. Kieron, Daniel, Gabe, and the rest of the team consistently earn praise for being knowledgeable, personable, and remarkably good at reading what a group actually needs, whether that's adjusting pace for an injury, keeping kids engaged, or pivoting around weather. The range of experiences on offer is impressive too, from Portland food tours and truffle hunting to Mt. Rainier hikes and San Juan Islands adventures. One reviewer noted some confusion around what was included in a truffle hunting tour, so it's worth reading the details of any booking carefully before you go. That said, the overwhelming majority of experiences here are enthusiastically positive, and the customization for private and corporate groups seems to be a particular sweet spot. If you're looking for a guided outdoor or food experience in the Pacific Northwest that feels personal rather than generic, this is a strong choice.
