The crew here consistently earns praise for creating an upbeat, welcoming atmosphere on their tours. Guests call out staff members like Margaret, Aiden, Emilee, and Madelyn by name, appreciating how personable and entertaining they make the experience. The energy stays high throughout, with good music and a fun vibe that seems to be a signature of their approach. What really stands out is how attentive they are to varying comfort levels in the water. Multiple reviewers mention crew members going above and beyond to help nervous swimmers feel safe, even offering guided assistance with boards and personal attention. As for wildlife, turtles and dolphins make regular appearances, though whale sightings depend on the season and aren't guaranteed. Even when guests don't spot whales, they still report having a great time thanks to the crew's enthusiasm and professionalism in finding other marine life to enjoy.
We LOVED our time with Honolulu Snorkel Company. Captain Carlos, Jake, Ace, & Avi were fun, knowledgeable, safe, and extremely patient- in particular. I was impressed watching them manage some more water-shy individuals and children. They kept calm and were encouraging with them. Jake even taught my husband how to dive down to the coral. We swam through endless fish and saw at least 5 sea turtles close-up. They were clear about rules and safety in regards to participants and to the wildlife. On the way back to dock, we spotted a pod of dolphins and Carlos stopped the boat, giving us extra time to watch them. It was magical and I was so thankful for that!
