At King’s Landing, you launch straight into the emerald waters of Rock Springs Run, Florida’s top-rated paddle trail and a National Wild and Scenic River. This family-owned outpost supplies everything from kayaks and paddleboards ...
This kayaking outfit consistently delivers memorable nature experiences thanks to exceptional guides who clearly love what they do. Nigel, Owen, Kevin, Dani, and Kim all get glowing mentions for being knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely engaging. People rave about the clear kayak tours and nighttime paddles, with plenty of wildlife sightings including gators, turtles, and various birds. The crystal-clear waters and peaceful, winding rivers create that perfect escape from typical theme park crowds. The natural setting itself is stunning, especially if you visit early in the day when you'll have the water mostly to yourself. Wildlife tends to be more visible on certain forks of the river, and guides know exactly where to take you for the best experience. A couple of service issues pop up, including one person reporting problems bringing their service dog despite website policies, and occasional front desk attitude. These seem isolated rather than widespread, but worth noting if you have specific accessibility needs to confirm ahead of time.
A step back in time to see the beauty of natural Florida. We did the 8.5 mile shuttle run & saw so many gators & turtles. We took our time & had a couple of hours leftover to enjoy the food & drinks on Wakiva Island at the end while we waited for the shuttle back. Definitely doing this at least once a year.
