The boats themselves are generally described as clean, well-maintained, and perfect for family outings on Long Lake. Staff members go the extra mile by helping with coolers, explaining controls thoroughly, and being available to answer questions. A few hiccups show up in the reviews. One person had trouble getting responses about a rental and disputed charges, while another couple felt the check-in staff was disrespectful and the boat underwhelming. There was also a complaint about unexpected cleaning fees. These seem to be outliers though. The overwhelming pattern is smooth experiences, year after year, with quick problem-solving when issues do arise (like swapping out a boat with a faulty motor). One even carried our cooler to the boat, which was docked at a convenient location for departure. He then described the boat’s controls and safety features. We cruised, at a leisurely pace, to the northern end of Long Lake and back. The boat was clean, comfortable, and handled well. Upon our return to the marina dock, another staff member was waiting to assist in our docking. We thank the staff at Moose Landing Marina for a very enjoyable afternoon cruise.
