Nestled in the foothills of North Georgia, this USDA-licensed wildlife and safari park invites you to step beyond the fences and connect with more than 300 animals, from playful otters and gentle sloths to rare miniature livestock...
This place catches visitors by surprise in the best way possible. What might look like a basic zoo turns out to be something far more interactive and memorable, with guests consistently mentioning they stayed much longer than planned. The real magic here is in the hands-on experiences, from the drive-through safari where animals literally greet you through your window to specialized animal encounters with capybaras, sloths, fennec foxes, and more. One particularly touching visit involved a blind guest who was able to touch nearly a dozen different animals he'd only read about before, making this an exceptionally inclusive destination for people with different accessibility needs. The staff, especially a guide named Coffey (or Coffee, as some spell it), gets enthusiastic shout-outs for being knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about the animals. The ultimate package and behind-the-scenes tours seem to be the sweet spot for getting the most out of your visit. There's one notable complaint about the animal experiences feeling rushed at around 10 minutes, which suggests some inconsistency in timing or expectations. Still, the overwhelming sentiment is that this goes well beyond a typical zoo experience. Families love it, animal lovers rave about it, and the combination of drive-through safari, walking tours, and intimate animal encounters creates a full-day adventure that keeps people coming back.
Coffee was absolutely amazing he came with so many weird and interesting facts on all the animals. You could tell he truly loved his job and the animals he got to work with. The capybaras were so cute and interesting. It's definitely worth the price and I suggest buying the fees for the safari if you want a real personal experience.
