OC Banana is a locally owned, family-run outfit sharing their love of Ocean City’s sparkling waters one splash at a time. Climb onto the bright yellow banana raft and let the powerboat “Jaws” rocket you across the bay for 50 minut...
This banana boat operation has clearly mastered the art of creating memorable water adventures in Ocean City. The crew consistently earns praise for being friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in giving everyone a great time. They check conditions before heading out and offer options between ocean or bay rides based on safety. What really sets them apart is their willingness to capture photos and videos using your own phone, so you get authentic action shots without paying for expensive photo packages. Many families mention the crew even lets riders jump off the main boat into the water while securing the banana boat, adding an extra thrill to the experience. The experience works for a surprisingly wide age range. One group ranged from 4 to 70 years old, with younger kids able to ride along as observers in the boat. Families return year after year, with one reviewer making it an annual tradition for seven consecutive years. The rides are legitimately thrilling with plenty of bouncing and opportunities to get tossed into the water, yet the crew adjusts intensity and positioning to keep it fun for everyone. Booking online is straightforward, and repeat customers genuinely can't wait to come back.
The two gentlemen guiding/driving the boat were awesome! They helped us on/off the boat. The younger gentleman took photos with our camera & made sure to get good still and action shots & videos. The one driving the boat definitely made sure we saw and got super close to a school of dolphins, then pulled the banana boat in a manner that made sure we ALL had fun. I’m so happy I did it. (Don’t forget to tip them at the end).
