Ghost hunters and dark tourism fans seem to have found their match with this Phoenix tour company. Guides like Emily, David, Erika, and India consistently earn praise for their historical knowledge and engaging storytelling. What sets these tours apart is the authentic ghost hunting equipment everyone gets to use—EMF readers, spirit boxes, and dowsing rods—which creates an interactive experience rather than just a walking lecture. Multiple reviewers mention capturing unexplained activity and getting genuine responses from the equipment, particularly at locations like the Rosson House and Melinda's Alley. The experience does have some logistical quirks to know about. A couple visitors struggled with finding meeting locations and felt communication could be friendlier, while others wished for clearer guidance on parking costs and walking distances in downtown Phoenix's heat. One person felt their tour lacked substance with minimal storytelling, though this seems to be an outlier given how many others specifically rave about the detailed historical context. Most tours end at a speakeasy with craft cocktails, which gets enthusiastic mentions. For newcomers to paranormal investigating or longtime believers, the tours deliver both educational value and legitimate spooky moments.
We had a great time. Our tour guide David did a great job. I loved being able to use the equipment and being able to go into the hotel. My family and I really enjoyed feeling like we made contact with spirits. I would highly recommend participating with this tour if you're close to Tempe AZ.
