Aaron and Eric have built something special here, and it shows in every interaction. Guests consistently praise Aaron especially for being knowledgeable, easygoing, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a great time. He's described as patient, funny, and an excellent "people person" who adapts trips to what guests want, whether that's serious fishing, scenic tours through Topock Gorge, or relaxed sunset cruises. The comfortable pontoon boat provides plenty of space and comes equipped with everything needed. The fishing success speaks for itself. Aaron knows the lake intimately and works hard to put guests on fish, trying multiple spots and techniques until things click. People caught stripers, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and redear sunfish. Even when fishing starts slow, his personality and local knowledge keep the experience enjoyable. Several reviews mention returning for second trips or planning future visits, which tells you plenty. Communication is smooth from the first contact, with helpful information and flexible scheduling that even accommodates last-minute bookings.
It's a nice surf park with lots of great seating in the sand and shade umbrellas. The wave pool is really neat, however, it would be beneficial if they could work in breaks from the surfers and let those that pay the regular entry fee a chance to swim out past the designated area instead of waiting until the last hour before the park closes. That's not much time and not everyone stays until close. I would also highly suggest having wait staff come around to the lounge chairs for drinks and food, which would avoid the wait lines and make it an extra relaxing experience!
