GoCarTours

GoCars in Monterey have earned a reputation as one of the more memorable ways to take in the coastline, and the reviews back that up consistently. The GPS-guided narration keeps things informative without feeling like a lecture, and the routes, whether the two-hour bay loop or the three-hour Carmel stretch, give you plenty of opportunities to pull over and soak in the views at your own pace. Staff like Alex get called out repeatedly for being patient, thorough during the walkthrough, and genuinely helpful even during busy periods. First-timers and nervous drivers seem to settle in quickly, with most people noting the cars are intuitive and easy to handle. Families with kids, couples, and solo travelers all seem to find something to enjoy here. The upgrade option mentioned in a few reviews is worth considering, and the three-hour tour appears to be the sweet spot for those who want to really cover ground. Return visits are a common theme in these reviews, which says a lot about the overall experience.
