Oh man! Great tour and tour guide. I had the most personal history filled hour amongst the San Gorgonio Pass Wind Turbine Farm. Details of earlier Windmills to stats from KG to MW and fun facts of the newest Wind Turbines that ironically are all around you as you pull up. Two of the 1st Windmills to be put on these acres, are still on display here from way back when they all started in the 80s. Amongst bushes that have been there since before the Windmills were. Probably 200 years worth of history. Idk felt at home here even with the sun blazing over us at 100° temperature. Kinda bummed the tour came to an end. You want some history on how Los Angeles gets it energy to how energy farms from Florida fire all the way here. This is where its at. All those years of the 'Alien Windmills' haha on each side of us as we drive through can now be explained by the locals. You'll love it and well worth your time.
