Just minutes from downtown Kansas City, Zip KC invites you to trade pavement for treetops. Certified guides lead you across nine thrilling ziplines stretching more than a mile—culminating in a heart-pounding zero-gravity free-fall...
Zip lining here feels like the real deal, with a beautiful wooded setting near Bonner Springs that includes tree-to-tree lines, river views, and even glimpses of the KC skyline on clearer days. The guides consistently earn praise for being professional, friendly, and excellent at making first-timers feel comfortable while keeping the experience exciting. Names like Phoenix, Austin, Quinn, and Yonna pop up repeatedly as people who genuinely enhanced the adventure. Solo visitors, couples, families, and school groups all seem to leave happy. One significant issue to know about: they close seasonally for winter without clearly advertising it everywhere, which caught at least one customer off guard with voucher complications. Beyond that isolated complaint, the overwhelming majority had fantastic experiences. The facility offers different tour options including sunset date nights and combination hike-and-zip packages. People appreciate the variety of terrain and obstacles, with some calling it worth both the drive and the money. If you're planning a visit, it's smart to confirm they're open before making the trip out.
Austin and Luke were great guides for a really fun and safe afternoon. My kids and I did the Ultimate adventure tour and loved it. The area is beautiful and great to hike through and the zip lines were fun. Would definitely recommend for a day out!
