Drive a high-performance Polaris UTV on a 25-mile guided route. Start with a safety briefing and gear fitting, then enjoy a 1.5-hour ride over rugged terrain.
Drivers must be at least 18 years old for guided rentals and at least 60 inches tall. The driver must provide a valid state-issued driver’s license and a credit or debit card for either a damage waiver or deposit (one must be selected at the time of rental); the card must match the name on the license, and the cardholder must be present. Primary renters may choose between a $15 damage waiver or a refundable $1,500 deposit per vehicle.
All drivers and passengers are required to sign a rental and liability waiver, with a parent or guardian signing for those under 18. Drivers must be in good physical and mental health and will not be permitted to operate the vehicle if pregnant, medically unfit, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or certain medications. Front passengers must be at least 60 inches tall, rear passengers at least 46 inches tall, and all riders must be physically able to safely endure rugged terrain. The combined weight of all occupants must not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended limits.
Rescheduling is allowed at least 72 hours before your appointment. Cancellations are not permitted, including for inclement weather. Arrive 30 minutes early; late arrivals forfeit without refund. If management cancels due to unforeseen issues, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
Arrive 30 minutes before your departure for rules, waivers, helmet and goggle issue, and a safety briefing with operating training. Plan to spend about 1 hour and 40 minutes total (30 minutes before, about 1 hour riding, and about 10 minutes for check-in after you return).

The terrain covers everything from desert trails to sand dunes, and most visitors were pleasantly surprised by how fast-paced and thrilling the rides actually are. The UTVs themselves are powerful and well-maintained, giving you a real taste of El Paso's dramatic landscape with photo-worthy ridge-top views. The biggest thing to know: advance online reservations are essential. A couple of visitors arrived hoping for spontaneous rentals and were turned away despite seeing available units sitting there. Once you're actually booked though, the process runs smoothly from check-in to hitting the trails. Tours typically run about an hour, so double-check timing when booking through third-party sites. A few practical notes: facilities are limited to portable restrooms (it's the desert, after all), and while some find it pricey, most agree the adrenaline rush and unique desert experience make it worthwhile.
What an awesome time, this is truly a great way to see the desert. Early into the ride the UTV we were on had a mechanical issue and the manager let us come back to swap it out and still go back out to finish the full tour. Highly recommend if you are in El Paso.
