Fish the North Shore shoreline with provided gear (nonresident license required)
Up to 1.5 hours
at most 5 people
Poles, tackle, bait
Fish from the shoreline on Oahu’s North Shore and practice your techniques for catch-and-release. Spend up to 1.5 hours on a beach away from the main beach parks to avoid big crowds.
A Hawaii state nonresident recreational marine fishing license is required for nonresidents age 15+ (except active duty military and their families). This tour is not handicap friendly, and the nearest restroom is not on-site.
Cancel/reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged. After you confirm your reservation the day before, you can’t cancel/reschedule without being charged. Vouchered tours: $25 per person charge if cancelling less than 48 hours before. Day-before/same-day, no-show, or invalid/expired voucher: charged full booking price.
Bring a Hawaii state nonresident recreational marine fishing license if you are a nonresident age 15 or older. Active duty military and their families are exempt.
No. This shoreline fishing tour is not handicap friendly.
Plan for limited facilities. You fish from a beach away from the main beach parks, so you won’t have typical on-site shower or bathroom access.
The guides here really shine through in the reviews. Kenny, Pali, Alex, Kieran, and Ashton all get enthusiastic shoutouts for their patience, local knowledge, and genuine island hospitality. Most visitors caught fish and appreciated the relaxed vibe, especially families with kids who found the guides attentive and helpful with baiting hooks, casting lines, and sharing Hawaiian fish names. Several people mention getting solid recommendations for other island spots too. There are some operational hiccups worth noting. A handful of customers struggled with last-minute cancellations and delays, and a few felt the equipment was pretty basic for the experience. Communication seems hit or miss, with some praising quick responses while others had trouble getting replies. The experience appears to vary depending on which guide you get and possibly how you book. That said, the majority of recent visitors had a genuinely good time, and many say they'd fish with these guys again.
My little boy and I had a great time fishing with Kenny! We caught several fish and the event wasn’t a huge time commitment, just a nice morning event. Very relaxed.
