Important details

• Rental requires age 18 or older, a valid driver's license and a major credit card in your own name. Bring your driver's license to check-in; the name must match the reservation and credit card.
• Operators born on or after September 1, 1993 require a Texas-approved boater safety certificate. Bring your certificate to check-in. Valid out-of-state certifications are accepted.
• Bring the credit card used for the reservation to check-in. Your card will be kept on file, and you are responsible for damage costs.
• Fuel is not included in the listed price. You'll be charged separately at the ship store at check-in, based on the boat type and rental length.
• Late returns incur a separate fee of $135 every 15 minutes. A $250 rescue fee applies unless the rescue results from a manufacturer defect or mechanical failure.
• Sign the rental agreement and liability waiver at check-in.
• Wear a life jacket at all times while on the water, including while tubing or using water toys. Swimming is at your own risk, with no lifeguard on duty. In-water activities are prohibited after sunset.
• Stay at least 50 feet from shore. Do not switch drivers at the docks, on the beach or between vessels, and do not operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Take everything you bring back with you, including all trash.
• An equal-or-better watercraft may be substituted; a specific make, model, year or color is not guaranteed.
• Arrive 30 minutes before your reserved start time for paperwork and orientation. Your rental time starts at the reserved time, even if you arrive late.
