2-Day Great Barrier Reef & Daintree Tour from Cairns

Itinerary

1. Day 1: Daintree Rainforest. Start with an included shared pickup and travel by bus. Approximate pickup times are 6:50–7:15am in Cairns City, from 7:20am in the Northern Beaches and from 8:20am in Port Douglas.
2. Enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits at the Daintree River Cruise Centre before your cruise.
3. Explore the Daintree River on a 1-hour guided cruise and look for crocodiles and other wildlife.
4. The photo stop at Mount Alexandra Lookout is temporarily unavailable.
5. Walk along a Daintree Rainforest boardwalk with your local guide.
6. Enjoy lunch in the Daintree Rainforest. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
7. Take a freshwater swim in the rainforest.
8. Stroll along Cape Tribulation Beach and walk to the lookout at your own pace.
9. Travel by ferry, then enjoy an included tropical fruit ice cream at the Daintree Ice Cream Company.
10. Return by bus with included transfers.
11. Day 2: Great Barrier Reef. Make your own way to Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns for check-in between 7:15am and 7:45am.
12. Enjoy tea, coffee and muffins at 7:45am before departing aboard Evolution at 8am.
13. Reach the first reef location at approximately 9:30am and begin snorkeling at 9:45am.
14. Enjoy a chef-prepared barbecue lunch on board at 11:30am. Special dietary requirements can be catered for; the menu may change with the season and ingredient availability.
15. Arrive at the second Great Barrier Reef location at 1pm. Snorkel and relax on the boat.
16. Depart for Cairns at 3pm.
17. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, cheese and biscuits at 3:30pm. Drinks from the cash bar cost extra and are not included in the listed price.
18. Return to Cairns Marlin Marina at approximately 4:30pm, at the Reef Fleet Terminal.
19. Finish with the included shuttle between 5pm and 6pm.
