Know before you go
- Arrive at least 30 minutes early for paperwork, life jacket fitting, safety overview, and launch preparation
- Bring a valid photo ID for check-in
- Complete liability waivers for everyone in your group before arrival
- Ages 3–15 must paddle with an adult chaperone
- Travelers ages 16+ may paddle without an adult chaperone when a parent or legal guardian completes their waiver
- An adult age 18+ must complete the rental contract; a parent must complete waivers for minors
- Wear a properly fitted life jacket throughout your paddle; life jackets are provided
- Weight limits apply: 250 lbs single kayak, 474 lbs tandem kayak, 300 lbs single paddleboard, 485 lbs tandem paddleboard, and 350 lbs fishing kayak
- Return equipment by the scheduled end time, even if you arrive late
- Expect a $20 per-vehicle Hidden Cove Park parking fee, paid at the park entrance and not included in the listed price
- Do not drag kayaks or paddleboards; charges apply for lost or damaged property
- Launching may be delayed or suspended for high winds, lightning, thunderstorms, or unsafe lake conditions
Cancellation Policy
No refunds. Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Rentals may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather or lake conditions.
FAQs
Bring water, sunscreen, season-appropriate clothing, a waterproof phone case or camera, and a valid photo ID. Use the restroom and apply sunscreen before getting fitted for your life jacket; restrooms are not available once you are on the water.
Personal equipment may need to launch separately under marina and park regulations. Staff do not assist with launching or transporting personal equipment.
Dry bags and waterproof phone cases are available to rent or purchase on site.
