- The captain must have a boater safety card from any state or have been born before January 1, 1988
- The person operating the boat cannot consume alcohol or be under the influence of drugs
- Return the boat to the dock by 5 PM; nighttime operation is not permitted
- Stay within the barrier reef; travel beyond it is not permitted
- A delivery address is required; onsite pickup is not currently offered
- Delivery fees may apply for rentals under one week outside Cudjoe Key
- Delivery is unavailable to Marathon and Key West
- Return the boat clean or a $100 cleaning fee applies
- Complete a waiver before operating the boat
