- Driver must be at least 25 years old
- Drivers born after June 30, 1996 need a valid Michigan Boater Safety Certificate
- Complete an electronic waiver for every driver and passenger before departure
- A credit card is required at pickup for a $1,000 authorization hold for potential damage and fuel charges
- Fuel is not included; $6 per gallon applies if the tank is not returned full
- Expect a $75 cleaning fee if trash is left behind
- Use a towable tube only with the towable tube package
- Wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket for every passenger age 12 or younger
- Remain seated inside the boat while the engine is running
- Do not operate after dark; boating is allowed from sunrise to sunset
- Do not smoke on the boat or operate it under the influence of alcohol or drugs
