- Launch-point pickup and drop-off
Know before you go
- Driver must be at least 25 years old
- Operators born after June 30, 1996 require a valid Michigan Boater Safety Certificate
- All drivers and passengers must sign an electronic waiver before departure
- A $1,000 credit-card authorization hold applies at pickup for potential damage and fuel charges
- Fuel is not included if the tank is returned less than full; refueling costs $6 per gallon
- Trash left on the boat incurs a $75 cleaning fee
- Children age 12 and under must wear a Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device
- Boat operation is limited to sunrise through sunset
- Tubing requires the towable tube package; towing other vessels is not allowed
- Remain seated within the enclosed boat area while the engine is running
- No smoking or operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Return to a dock or seek shelter in high winds or lightning
