Important details

• A suitable overnight mooring location at a Michigan lake-front property is required, and boat rentals and overnight mooring must be permitted there
• Driver must be age 25 or older
• Anyone born after June 30, 1996 needs a valid Michigan Boater Safety Certificate to operate the boat
• All drivers and passengers must complete an electronic waiver before departure
• A credit card authorization hold of $1,000 is required at delivery or pickup for potential damage and fuel charges; it is released if no charges apply
