Yes, if you were born on or after January 1, 1988, Florida law requires you to have a boater safety card to drive the pontoon. You can take the test on site for a $3 fee.
You must be at least 18 years old to rent and sign for the watercraft and you must present a valid ID at check-in. Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid ID and a boater safety course.
Yes. For pontoons, you must choose either a $40 one-time damage protection payment (covers up to $1,000 in damages) or a $200 hold placed on a card when you arrive (released after the rental if there are no damages; your bank may take 3–5 business days to post the release).
