Itinerary

1. Day 1: Adelaide to Kangaroo Island. Depart Adelaide CBD at 06:45 on a SeaLink bus transfer to the ferry terminal at Cape Jervis.
2. Board the ferry for a 45-minute cruise to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Meet your guide for an overview of the next few days.
3. Explore Kangaroo Island by bus, taking a scenic coastal drive to Pennington Bay on the south coast.
4. Climb the 500 steps to the top of Prospect Hill in Prospect Hill Park for views of the island.
5. Enjoy your included lunch.
6. Arrive late in the afternoon at Happiness eco-campsite, with private access to Antechamber Bay beach.
7. Enjoy your included dinner.
8. Settle into your swag for a night of camping.
9. Day 2: Flinders Chase National Park. Start with your included breakfast.
10. Join a 45-minute tour with National Parks & Wildlife guides.
11. Explore Flinders Chase National Park, known for its rock formations and beaches.
12. Enjoy your included lunch.
13. Walk along the boardwalk at Admirals Arch and look out for New Zealand fur seals.
14. Return to camp for free time to relax before your included dinner, then spend the night at camp.
15. Day 3: Coastal walks and return. Start with your included breakfast.
16. Take a morning bush walk near camp, then pack up and leave Happiness. Visit Cape Willoughby’s historic lighthouse before heading to Emu Bay for a stroll and beach clean.
17. Choose an optional 2-hour Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari for a chance to swim with wild dolphins or seals. This guided activity suits all skill levels; an additional fee applies and is not included in the listed price.
18. Stop for lunch.
19. If you are not snorkelling, hike Ironstone Hill through regenerating sheoak woodlands, taking in coastal views.
