Itinerary

1. Day 1: New York to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Depart from New York City.
2. Explore Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia on your own for 30 minutes.
3. Join the optional 2-hour guided tour to visit inside the U.S. Capitol and National Archives, then see the Supreme Court of the United States and Library of Congress from outside.
4. See the White House from outside during a 30-minute self-guided stop.
5. Explore the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Veterans Memorial on your own for 45 minutes.
6. Stay overnight at SpringHill Suites Gaithersburg, Comfort Inn Shady Grove - Gaithersburg - Rockville, or a similar hotel.
7. Day 2: Corning, the Finger Lakes, and Niagara Falls. Take an optional 90-minute self-guided visit to the Corning Museum of Glass.
8. Explore Watkins Glen State Park and the Finger Lakes during an optional 90-minute stop. Watkins Glen State Park is skipped when closed.

11. Day 3: Niagara Falls and return to New York. Explore more on the optional 2.5-hour Niagara Falls Classic Tour. When Maid of the Mist is operating, the route includes Whirlpool Park, Cave of the Winds, and Maid of the Mist. When Maid of the Mist is closed, the route includes Whirlpool Park, Cave of the Winds, and Old Fort Niagara State Park instead.
12. Return to New York at approximately 9:00 PM, with timing dependent on the day's itinerary, weather, and traffic. Listed drop-off points are the Times Square LOFT entrance in Manhattan; Asian Jewel Seafood Restaurant in Flushing; Andrews NYC Diner at 463 7th Ave, New York, NY 10018; Capital One Bank at Union Square; Chrystie Street; and Jersey City.
