    Itinerary

    1. Guests will gather at the Liquid Sunshine Gauge.

    3. Upon arrival at the shop, everyone will change into wetsuits and receive all necessary snorkeling gear.
    4. The group will then travel by vehicle for approximately 2 minutes (1 mile) to reach the snorkeling site at Mountain Point.
    5. Once at Mountain Point, there will be an opportunity to take photos overlooking the site. Optional weight belts will be distributed as needed.
    6. Participants will walk down the trail to the beach and listen to a safety briefing before entering the water.
    7. The highlight of the itinerary is the snorkeling and guided marine life tour, which lasts between 1 hour and 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    8. After snorkeling, the group will walk back up the trail to the equipment truck and return all gear.
    9. Participants will take a 2-minute, 1-mile drive back to the shop.
    10. At the shop, guests will remove their wetsuits, enjoy hot showers and have hot beverages. Souvenir T-shirts, hats, and hoodies are available for purchase.

    FAQs

Yes. You should be reasonably physically fit, have good mobility, and be able to walk across rough terrain and descend/ascend an unimproved trail to reach the water. You snorkel from a rocky beach, so it isn’t suitable for guests with limited mobility.

You can’t participate if you have any past or present heart condition, major respiratory disorders (including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or exercise-induced asthma), or a history of seizures or fainting. No refunds are provided the day of the tour for these medical restrictions.

You must weigh 80–260 lb (35–118 kg) to ensure proper wetsuit fit. The operator suggests a maximum age limit of 65, depending on your level of physical fitness.

Great experience. Staff gave a great effort to ensure that we all could get as much exposure to sea creatures as possible. We held sea stars of all sizes and colors, sea cucumbers, crabs and sea urchins. Suits were very helpful for the cold water. If you like looking at the underwater world then give this a go.
