- Expect a fuel charge based on actual usage, not included in the listed price
- Expect customary, discretionary captain and crew gratuity of 15–20% of the charter price, paid directly at the end
- Bring food and beverages if you wish, but leave red wine and glass beer bottles behind
- Use lotion sunscreen only; sprays, oils, bronzers, and shimmer products are not permitted
- Wear bare feet or clean socks onboard
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 5 days before departure for a full refund of charter fees paid to the vessel owner. Within 5 days, charter fees are non-refundable. If the captain cancels for unsafe weather, rescheduling is attempted first; if it is not mutually possible, charter fees paid to the vessel owner are refunded. Vessel unavailability follows the same policy.
FAQs
A qualified U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain is required and separately contracted by the primary charterer. Select an independent, insurance-approved captain from the Captain Services Acknowledgment roster, or engage your own qualified captain subject to vessel-owner approval and insurance requirements.
Each adult must complete a waiver before boarding. A parent or guardian completes the waiver for each minor.
Bring your own food and beverages if you wish. Leave red wine and glass beer bottles behind, and avoid items that may stain the upholstery. Small soft coolers are recommended.
