Water, bait, fishing licenses

The captain determines weather cancellations. Cancellations within 72 hours are subject to loss of deposit; if the boat is filled, your entire deposit is refunded. If the boat leaves the dock and you cannot complete your dives, no refund is issued.

If you are new to spearfishing or unfamiliar with Gulf of Mexico fish rules and size limits, the required class costs $150. It includes speargun rental, a dedicated instructor as your dive buddy, safety and etiquette instruction, help identifying legal fish, and dockside fish cleaning.
You’ll be notified before the trip, and the spearfishing charter will become a standard two-tank dive trip.
Bring food for the trip, a towel, a change of clothes, sun protection, and layered clothing for changing conditions. Gloves and a flashlight are helpful for spearfishing. Bring a cooler for your catch if desired.
