    Itinerary

    • Arrive at South Woodstown Station 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
    • Check-in at the Ticket Window (track side of station building).
    • Browse our Gift Shop.
    • Train boarding begins approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
    • Train departs as close to your scheduled departure time as possible.
    • 2-hour, 32-mile scenic train ride through Southern, NJ.
    • Train returns to the station.
    • Passengers exit the train.

    Important details

    • The historic railcars do not meet current Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility standards.
    • Only registered service animals are permitted aboard; pets are not allowed.
    • Smoking is not permitted on the train. Outside alcohol is permitted only during designated events.
    • Clothing may become soiled by locomotive soot, cinders, emissions, or natural elements. The railroad is not responsible for damage to personal belongings.
    • In inclement weather, you may be moved to an enclosed coach only if seating is available.

    Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. You may reschedule within 24 hours of purchase. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling. The train operates rain or shine, but operations may be canceled in extreme weather.

    My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by enjoying the relaxing and scenic views on the Woodstown Railroad that included a stop at the Bil-Dol Farm to pick beautiful wildflowers! It was a beautiful day, not too hot, and the staff at at the railroad station and on the train were very friendly and helpful, and the staff at the farm were very friendly and welcoming as well. The whole experience was wonderful and we definitely would be interested in a future excursion.

    My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by enjoying the relaxing and scenic views on the Woodstown Railroad that included a stop at the Bil-Dol Farm to pick beautiful wildflowers! It was a beautiful day, not too hot, and the staff at at the railroad station and on the train were very friendly and helpful, and the staff at the farm were very friendly and welcoming as well. The whole experience was wonderful and we definitely would be interested in a future excursion.
