4-Day Decompression Diving Course in Ramrod Key

Build the knowledge and practical skills to plan deeper dives with limited decompression. Complete Deep Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox, Decompression Diving, and Computer Diving specialties in one bundle.

• Learn to plan limited-decompression dives to a maximum depth of 130 feet
• Practice gas switching, gas integration, time-to-reserve, and time-to-surface functions
• Use enriched air mixtures with up to 40% oxygen
• Explore dive computer functions before, during, and after your dives
• Earn four SSI certifications upon successful completion

Itinerary

Day 1

• Upon completion of your academic materials prior to your arrival, we will conduct a classroom academic review and practical applications for the Enriched Air Nitrox and Computer Diving specialty courses. After lunch we will shift to the pool to review you current skills and learn the new skills required for the Decompression Diving course.

Day 2

• We will start the day with a review of Decompression Diving theory and plan our first 2 open water training dives. After lunch it is out on the boat for our first 2 open water training dives.

Day 3

• Today we will conduct 2 additional open water training dives.

Day 4

• We will conduct our final 2 open water training dives.

Important details

• Ages 16+ only
• Requires an Open Water Diver or comparable certification from a recognized training agency
• Requires 24 logged dives, verified with your dive log at the start of the course
• Complete all assigned academic materials before the first day of the course
