Dress in warm layers and avoid denim. Bring a jacket (multiple layers), thermals, long-sleeve shirts, full face coverage, a beanie, gloves, and hiking boots.
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and personal medications if needed. Pack water (2L/66oz recommended) in a water bottle (32oz minimum) and a smartphone with plenty of storage if you want to take videos.
You follow your guide into Rocky Mountain National Park in your own vehicle. Make sure your vehicle has at least a half tank of gas. Your guide stays in communication with you via GMRS radios during the drive to the trailhead.
