Important details
- Arrive at least 30 minutes early for paperwork, life jacket fitting, safety overview, and launch preparation
- Bring a valid ID for check-in and have everyone in your group complete a liability waiver before arrival
- Children ages 3–15 require an adult chaperone; ages 16–17 may paddle without one when a parent or legal guardian completes their waiver
- An adult age 18 or older must complete the rental contract
- Wear a properly fitted life jacket throughout your paddle; life jackets are provided
- Stay within the equipment weight capacity: 250 lbs single kayak, 474 lbs tandem kayak, 300 lbs single paddleboard, 485 lbs tandem paddleboard, or 350 lbs fishing kayak
- Expect a $20 per-vehicle parking fee at the Hidden Cove Park entrance, not included in the listed price
- Expect wind, lightning, thunderstorms, or unsafe lake conditions to delay or temporarily suspend launching
- Return all equipment by your scheduled return time; late arrival does not extend your time on the water
- Avoid dragging kayaks or paddleboards; you are responsible for lost or damaged property
Cancellation Policy
No refunds. Give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel. Activities may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather or lake conditions.
FAQs
Bring water, season-appropriate clothing, and a waterproof phone case or camera. Apply sunscreen before arriving at the dock area.
Use the marina restrooms before heading to the dock. Restrooms are not available while you are out on the water.
Personal equipment may need to launch separately due to marina and park regulations. Staff do not assist with launching or transporting personal equipment.
