Know before you go
- Bring photo ID and a credit card for all rentals
- Wear a life jacket at all times while using rental equipment
- Single kayaks have a 275 lb weight limit; tandem kayaks have a 450 lb weight limit
- Requires following verbal or visual instructions independently or with companion assistance
- Requires entering and exiting a kayak independently, with companion assistance, or with adaptive equipment
- Each kayak requires at least one person who can paddle steadily and return to the launch area
- Requires tolerance of 80°F water and bright sunlight for 1.5 hours
- Requires getting out from under a capsized watercraft and remaining face-up with a life jacket
