Know before you go

• Arrive 20–30 minutes early for check-in
• Ages 25+ to rent; operators must be 21+
• Previous boating experience is required; first-time operators cannot be accommodated
• Bring a valid government-issued ID
• If born on or after January 1, 1988, bring a NASBLA-approved boater safety card unless exempt
• A $400 damage hold is placed on your card at check-in and releases after 24 hours if no damage; you are responsible for damage costs
• Stay within the defined boating boundaries
• Return by 12PM for an 8AM departure or 5PM for a 1PM departure; late returns are charged $100 per hour
• Expect additional fuel purchases at a local fuel dock if you use more than the included tank; this is not included in the listed price
• Leave pets, alcohol, drugs, fireworks, towables, smoking materials, and SCUBA gear behind
• Keep clear of wildlife; touching or harassing animals, including manatees, is prohibited
• Scalloping requires expert familiarity with local shallow, rocky waters; swimmers must be proficient and a capable operator must stay aboard
