Know before you go

• Ages 10–13 may paddle only in a tandem kayak with an adult
• Single kayaks require ages 14+
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Weight limit: 50–275 lbs
• Height requirement: 4 ft 6 in–6 ft 6 in
• Requires gripping a paddle or safety handle, sitting upright unassisted, and traveling over variable natural terrain
• Avoid applying sunscreen or bug spray to your neck and wrists before the trip, as it can damage dry suits
