Important details
- Ages 5+ only to ride; drivers must be ages 21+.
- Drivers need a valid motor vehicle driver's license, active auto insurance, and authorization on the rental agreement.
- Liability waiver required. Your auto insurance is primary; operator-provided insurance is secondary.
- Combined passenger and cargo weight limit: 1,200 lbs.
- Wear seat belts at all times and follow Florida traffic laws, including child-seat requirements.
- Use the cart only on paved public roads with posted speed limits of 35 mph or less, within Clearwater Beach Island and Sand Key. Do not drive on beaches, sidewalks, or unpaved surfaces.
- Pay parking charges where required. You are responsible for parking tickets, towing costs, and an additional $50 charge for unreported parking tickets.
- Monitor the battery level. A $150 rescue fee applies if the cart must be retrieved because of a drained battery.
- For overnight rentals, charge the cart overnight and return it fully charged; a lost day's rental fee applies if it is not fully charged.
- Return the cart on time and in clean condition. A $15-per-hour late fee, $100 lost-key fee, retrieval fee, and cleaning fee may apply.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 48 hours of booking receive a full refund less a 15% service fee. Cancellations after 48 hours of booking incur a 50% fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup are nonrefundable. Once you take possession, all sales are final, rain or shine. If the operator cancels due to weather that prevents safe operation, you receive a full refund.
