No. You start with a Segway training session (about 10–30 minutes, depending on group size and comfort level), and your guide stays nearby to help you build confidence.
Riders should be close to 11 years old. Anyone under 18 must ride with an adult or guardian, and a parent or guardian must sign the waiver. You should be comfortable on your feet and able to climb and descend stairs without assistance; it’s best if participants are close to 70 lbs. or more. Pregnant women are not allowed to ride.
