Discover what we've curated for you
Segways turn out to be surprisingly easy to master, even if you've never tried one before. Multiple reviewers in their 70s picked it up quickly thanks to patient, skilled instruction from guides like Mark, Brian, and Randy. The training portion gets everyone comfortable within minutes, and from there it's smooth cruising through Peninsula State Park, Cave Point, Fish Creek, and even Washington Island. These aren't just rides either - guides frequently stop to point out wildlife, mushrooms, lighthouses, and scenic photo opportunities while sharing local knowledge about the area. What really stands out is how the guides blend safety, education, and fun. Brian gets consistent praise for making people feel secure on all types of terrain while cracking jokes and sharing restaurant recommendations. Mark impresses with his attentiveness and engaging commentary. Randy wins over groups with his personable, humorous approach. One reviewer who'd had a stroke a decade ago appreciated the extra patience shown during instruction. Families with teenagers, couples on mini-vacations, and groups of ten all report having a blast. The tours range from two-hour excursions to longer adventures covering around ten miles of beautiful Door County scenery.
We did the Cave Point and Whitefish Dunes tour in late September. It was our first time on Segways (and we are both 69)! Mark was our guide and did an awesome job instructing us on using them. He pointed out interesting facts along the way, was very attentive as well as fun and enjoyable to talk with. This company has so many options for tours and had the best prices. Definitely recommend!
