- Wear closed-toe shoes; flip flops, sandals, and open-toed shoes are not allowed
- Expect elevations from 7,500 to 9,200 feet with thin, dry air
- Bring sunscreen and dress in layers or bring a removable jacket
- Bryce Canyon National Park admission is not included; a $20 per-person fee applies for ages 16+ and is payable to the National Park Service at park entry
- Bring an America the Beautiful Interagency Access Card if you have one; it covers your admission and up to three group members
