• Anyone born after January 1, 1988, needs a Michigan Boater Safety Course certificate to operate a motorized vessel
• Complete the required waiver before arrival; a parent or legal guardian must complete documentation for minors
• Participants under 90 lbs need a Coast Guard-approved life jacket
• A $500 temporary authorization hold per vehicle applies to your card during the rental and is released after a satisfactory return
• Return with the same fuel level or a $75 refueling fee per unit applies
• After a 10-minute grace period, a $10-per-minute late-arrival fee may apply
