Full-Day Kayak, Paddleboard & Canoe Rental in Prospect, KY

Harrods Creek makes for a genuinely enjoyable paddle, and the staff here seem to be a big part of why people keep coming back. Reviewers consistently highlight how friendly and accommodating the team is, from helping families with young kids get seated safely in a canoe before sliding them into the water, to squeezing in groups that didn't quite fit the standard booking options. The rentals are well-maintained and come with life jackets, and the location offers easy parking and water access. A few reviewers noted that the creek water can look a bit murky with algae, especially when water levels are low and current is slow. That's worth knowing going in, though wildlife sightings, including birds and even otters, seem to be a regular highlight. Communication can occasionally be hit or miss, with at least one reviewer struggling to reach anyone by phone, so booking ahead online when possible is a smart move. For families, pet owners, or anyone just looking for a relaxed nature outing close to Louisville, this spot delivers. Prices are reasonable, the setup is straightforward, and the overall vibe is easygoing and welcoming.
