9-Mile Ichetucknee Springs Kayak & Canoe Rental

Explore a downstream route through Ichetucknee Springs State Park and into the Santa Fe River. This extended paddle is designed for experienced kayakers.

• Follow the current for 3.5 miles through Ichetucknee Springs State Park
• Pass beneath Highway 27 and continue along the Ichetucknee River
• Enter the Santa Fe River for the final stretch to William Guy Lemmon Park
• Paddle at your own pace with family and friends

Important details

• Arrive 30 minutes before the activity start time
• Arrive by 10am for the full 9-mile route
• Return by 4pm for pickup; late returns may incur fees
• Experienced kayakers only
• Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
• Bring your driver's license to complete the waiver at check-in
• Bring a set of car keys; they are held as rental collateral and returned when the rental ends
• Wait in line upon arrival to check in and receive paddle instructions
• Expect a park admission fee of $6 per car, for up to 8 people; it is not included in the listed price
• Do not bring alcohol, nicotine products, disposable items, speakers, water guns, or pets onto the river within park boundaries
• Coolers are not allowed on the first 3 miles of the trip
• Weight limits apply: 308 lbs for single sit-on-top kayaks, 287 lbs for single sit-in kayaks, 573 lbs for tandem sit-on-top kayaks, 507 lbs for tandem sit-in kayaks, and 1,063 lbs for canoes
