- Arrive 15 minutes before your reserved time
- Adult e-bike and e-trike rentals require ages 14+
- Confident bicycle-riding ability is required
- Adult bike fit varies by model, with height ranges from 4'10" to 6'4" and weight limits from 275 to 325 lbs
- Dog trailers fit dogs up to 77 lbs and attach only to adult bikes
- A valid Acadia National Park pass is required to use the carriage roads
- Ride only on Acadia’s carriage roads and Park Loop Road; Cadillac Mountain and hiking trails are prohibited
- Begin and end your ride at the shop; bikes cannot be transported by vehicle or bus
- Wear the provided helmet and secure shoes; flip-flops, slides, and bare feet are not allowed
- Return each bike by the end of the rental period; a $50 late fee per bike applies and is not included in the listed price
- Do not re-engage the disabled throttle; a $350 fine applies and is not included in the listed price
- You are responsible for bike damage beyond the included $250 coverage
- Drugs, alcohol, e-bike modifications, and cell phone use while riding are not permitted
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or change at least 48 hours before your scheduled time. Within 48 hours, no refunds are issued unless the bike is re-rented; a refund is then confirmed by email.

FAQs
Wear athletic clothing, layers, and a windbreaker or water-resistant outer shell. Wear secure shoes; flip-flops, slides, and bare feet are not allowed. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, camera, binoculars, and bug spray as needed for your bike rental.
Yield to pedestrians, runners, horseback riders, and traditional cyclists. Stay right, pass left with a clear bell or voice warning, slow down on loose gravel and around curves, and move aside when stopping.
